Before we met the other side of the world

The flight tickets are booked, the immunizations have been jabbed and a very rough itinerary has been sketched out. In the past few weeks, I've been religiously reading my travel guides to narrow down the many places to visit within one of the largest regions of the world. Halfway across the...

Ticket

I just bought my ticket and now I am terrified. I'm going to Tokyo for a week then off to Bangkok to start a large 4 month tour. I've never been away for more than 2 weeks and never across the ocean. I'm vibrating with excitement.

À France on y va...

At the moment it's almost 4am, and after leaving Ottawa last week, I'm here at home in Coquitlam, BC, starting a blog instead of finishing up my packing for later today. That being said, I'm going to stop here and go finish up so I can sleep a little before the sun rises! In any case,...

Beginning

My goal is to keep a blog this year; so here I am! I want to do this because I can't stand writing in a diary only to myself. I have no motivation for that, which, as I've discovered, results in many missing memories later on. Therefore, in the hopes of maintaining some form of documentation for...

Winding up the weeks

Ok! A busy week of not much this week! It's now Sunday, and while I feel like we've had a really busy time of it, the opposite could not be more true. Starting with Monday, we went and had a game of frisbee at Kits beach. Sarah still throws like a girl, insisting that I have to walk 30 feet...
