Pacific Ocean

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

After one month of travelling we finally arrived at the ozean. We visited 3 different places including Puerto Vallarta which looks like a spanish Tourist town. There were only a few people and all the bars and clubs were closed because of the swine flu. We just relaxed and didnĀ“t do anything there.

Aguascaliente and the San Marcus Feria

Aguascalientes, Mexico

We arrived in aguascaliente and did couch surfing. Surprinsingly we found out that the biggest street fair of Mexico is right now here and it is the best time to visit. We went to the fair and saw cockfights, went to the casino and had 1 liter beers for 20 pesos (1,30 Euro). Mexican fairs are amazing: a f... lot of people, mariachis, thousands of stores and eating possibilities, bullfights, cockfights, and a lot of dancing in the streets!

The Mexican Border

Del Rio, United States

We skipped the border at Loredo and took a detour to Del Rio. Everybody said that it is much saver to ross the border there. We stayed in an Air Force Base at the border with a nice guy. His name is David and he is studying there to become a cargo pilot. It was interesting to stay at an AIr Fore base over night. We took it easy and went to bed without a big party. We needed the sleep for the next day when crossing the border to Mexico.

Mexico, Mexico Mexico!

Monterrey, Mexico

We finally arrived in Mexico! Crossing the border was easy and just took us about one hour of paper work. The way to Monterrey was really difficult. We got stopped by the police about five times. All of them were friendliy but one Policia Municipal was very corrupted. They didn't let us go until we payed a pribe of 1000 Pesos. But we made it and now we are staying with a very friendly guy named RIcardo in Monterrey. He, his friends and his father are very friendly to us. Daniel and me are planning to stay here for about one week. We want to see the city center, go hiking in the unbelievable mountains around the city and of course taste some Mexican nightlife!

Austin

Austin, United States

We spent three nights in Austin, TX. The city is really nice with lots of music and alternative people. We had some typical Texas BBQ and a nice view over the city from one of the highest points of the area. Afterwards we went to a non touristic bar in Austin. The city is really worth a trip!
