lynds is quite accurate with depiction of time in airlie. am just gonna add a few words that were missed.
(some i wonder are supposed to stay out of first draft so just a run down)

-chris and chirs's flat and wine
-scuba diving great barrier with speed boat complete with duran duran style sunbathing deck
-snakes in the bushes
-possums in the trees
-certain sprinklers. at certain times. with certain alcohol volumes.
-mama africa's strange infusion of house and 'urban electronica' for sure
-use of beaches out of daylight hours
-clanceys (best pie shop in the world)
-that shower

magnums rules. so good we checked in three times. we love airlie it's our home.
