I got the job! I'm going out on my first assignment on Monday doing a range of accounting functions for a client. Should be nerve-wracking, but a really good experience. And maybe when I start earning some dollars I can buy some prettier shoes...but I think I'll wait until the bank account starts looking a little healthier.
