Day One - Blogabond

An early flight, but still managed to touch base with Robbie and David who couldn't fly to Fiji due to the weather.

Ryan was most excited about the individual TV's on the plane!

Once we arrived we picked up the car, a Toyota Corolla, just a newer version of the car I have at home, and managed to only get lost a couple of times.

Stayed at YHA Christchurch, simple, but cheap. Went for a couple of walks around the city, including hearing the bells of the Cathedral.

Saw the River Avon, with a Mill, after much discussion over dinner and the value of KFC, McDonalds or Burger King, we ended up in a nice restaurant where Ryan had Fish and Chips and I had a lovely steak and gnocchi
