My Stuff
The Summer Capital of the Philippines
Baguio
,
Philippines
I remember a very relaxing vacation in the
Philippines
two summers ago. My Filipino friends brought me to the Summer Capital of the
Philippines
which was
Baguio
City. I never imagined that a cool place such as
Baguio
existed in the tropical Island.
The city was fairly cold, but was very chilling at night. The famous Session Road boasted of fine restaurants and cafes. Burnham Park was very Filipino, with sights of family picnic, boat rides, and
Field
activities. Nightlife was very laidback with nightclubs such as City Lights, Red Lion, and the Legarda Strip. I also had the chance to visit Camp John Hay and
Baguio
Country Club, which had vast Golf Courses and other great amenities.
I had very fond memories with my friends in
Baguio
. It was a very happy place to be, though filled with poverty.
Baguio
was just another awesome city in the country.
