Drying red chili peppers

Farmers lay out their chili peppers one by one to dry in the heat of the sun. We see blankets of these all over the place, both on sidewalks or on rooftops. Anywhere that's flat enough to hold a blanket, and a space big enough to briefly mark as one's own.
