The ayi (groom's mom) gives the bride a red envelope.

The bride gets out of the car & pins a flower in the ayi's hair

The red bowl is very important. It is carried to the various apartments before the wedding and to the ceremony.

Teenager. High heels come in handy in the flash flood. A little dangerous though.
