Keep smiling!
Bangkok
,
Thailand
"Happy, happy!", as Thai people keep saying, that's how we feel. In the city with no supermarkets (we haven't seen any), everything can be bought and sold in the middle of the street, so our favourite activity is visiting the countless (and amazingly huge) street markets that can be found all over the city.
Nada mejor que comer en los puestecillos de los mercados
And once you have established contact with these people, falling in love with them is inavoidable. They are always smiling! Even when they try to cheat us, they do it nicely...
Anyhow, we have visited the main temples (45m Buddha... wow),
Buddha de 45m después de fumarse un porrito
but have decided that we had enough for now, I guess it's never nice when religion becomes a business,
In Pepsi we trust
pretty much like everywhere else. So today we jumped into a boat and covered almost the whole lenght of Chao Phraya River.

It was almost impossible to walk anyway, it's unbearably hot in here, so humid, so paralyzing.
And the food! OH-MY-GOD. We are enjoying the food so much. It's so nice, and so cheap! Yesterday night we ate grilled prawns... for 4 euros.
Hoy nos damos un homenaje
After that we went to get a massage... for 3 euros. You can definitely live like a queen of Sheba here, if that's what you want - but if you could see the cockroaches in our cheap cheap hotel you would know that it was an exception in this trip, our daily meal is rice for 1 euro :)
So everything is being really nice, and we are having a great time here. Tomorrow we are moving to Ayutthaya, we will post some pics of
Bangkok
from there (hopefully). Take care, and keep smiling!
