Last night we caught up with Annabel and the choir which was great. They got four silver medals in Prague so were happy. She was also billeted with one of the girls that stayed with us two years ago. Annabel had done no sight seeing - as they said, the sights will be there for years but the clothes won't.
Off to meet Margie Bargh tonight.
Sunny London and nice hotel.
Getting tired!
We did some sight seeing then went to a Swiz restaurant where we were allowed two drinks only and a group entertained us with horn blowing, bottle playing, cow bell ringing, flag throwing and other wicked things.
We know the people on the bus now which was useful as Colin was able to direct Mum out of the mens WC and to the ladies.
We travelled down the motorway built during communist times. It was probably built to last, but was very bumpy. We have seen lots of fabulous buildings, although Meredith doesn't want to see another one now.
People can't believe mum is 83 especially after she had downed a jug (well tankard) of beer and started dancing to the piano accordion. Slightly rainy and cold today. On to Munich tomorrow.
Arrived fashionably slightly late at the airport only to find my plane had been rescheduled and left in 15 minutes - slight panic but made the plane and so did my luggage!
