Placencia, Belize has one of the most exhilirating beaches in the world. Only consisting of a small community of less than 500 people, the place is perfect for tranquil vacations. The place is also known as “barefoot perfect” because the streets which are just the width of sidewalks, encourage people to walk due to lack of paved roads. The main street sidewalk is also amazing as it is the Guinness Book World of Records' narrowest street. Diving and snorkeling are a must as the second largest barrier reef in the world is just situated a few meters from the shore. The place is peaceful, wherein the breeze gently sways in the coconut palms, and the waves slowly break in the shore.

Relax your mind and your body at the most pleasant Placencia.

The Ranguana Lodge has very fine white sand which will dissolve your stress into its clear waters. You can go sportfishing in the sea, where you can fish for tuna, kingfish, barracuda, and snook. Ranguana has three stilted air-conditioned beachfront cabanas which are furnished. The two other units are more nature-inspired, and even more spacious, which consist of hardwood floors, kitchenettes, and cozy rooms. Both cabanas have decks and hammocks for relaxation.

It is a must to go for a walk along the main road which is a three-foot-wide sidewalk. The main road leads to the delightful town. Ranguana is definitely the best beach in Belize.
