Zach and I, Bad hairday anyone?
I hooked up with Zach Bardon on couchsurfing.com, What he is doing is that he travels around the U.S and making music with all kinds of musicians. He asked if there were someone in the San Francisco area, so I contacted him. He had a song ready for me to rap on. I wrote some Norwegian lyrics about traveling and sex and rapped in Norwegian. He though it was pretty cool. Other than that I just phoned people around about different interviews, trying to keep a track of time. While telephoning to people, this homeless guy came and said he was a stand-up comedian. I was curious and asked him to do one of his jokes.
It went like this:
"- Do you know why O.J tattooed a picture of his wife? the homeless guy asked
- No! I responded after thinking for a few seconds
- Like that he can beat her in jail."

I offered this man 10 USD if I could do an interview with him and if he could do a stand up routine, so I might meet him on my 10th day (I lost track of days, don't really know what day my 10th day is...)

So I guess by telephoning people, you meet interesting homeless people...

I don't know where to start here, but can jump to the scene where I followed Hollie to complete her halloween shopping. Guess what she is gonna be? hm.. I doubt that you guessed right. You probably were thinking: Clown, well, you're all wrong buddy. She is going to be... maybe you should wait and see. I think I'm going to keep that for myself until after halloween. But the crazy thing about halloween is that we went to this halloween store and there were actually a long line by The Entrance, I mean, come on. I felt a fake dizzyness of drunkness in my head cause this reminded me of a line to a club. Déja vu anyone? We went from there and to a place called chachacha, not the same from day 1, but another one. We had sangria and tapas, Holle introduced me to her favorite 2 things. and it was damn good. We then got picked up by Brad Olsen, one of the beach guys, he is the guy who tried aquivit with Hollie. We then went to the beach where we hooked up with the rest of the beach boys. there were a big fire, weed, alcohol and off course a guitar. We decided to tell a horror story where one starts and goes on for 30 seconds and the next takes off from there. It was funny. I filmed it without getting any sound. That was a shame. We all decided to go to a bar and I totally blacked out, well almost. Hollie and I were pretty drunk. We went to her place where I fell asleep on the couch.

I woke up on the couch not knowing where I were at first. My head felt like empty. I had to really take a deep breath before I realized I had couch surfed at hollies. Hollie came in the livingroom and made me a delicious cup of Chai Latte, and a bowl of fruit, soy yoghurt and müsli. It was heavenly delicious. I went back to the hostel cause I needed to charge the batteries for the camera. Nikita called me and asked if we could meet. I met her and Becky (I will refer them as "the british girls"). Anyway we hooked up, had a coffee and brainstormed on a few projects. We parted real quick cause all of us was kinda busy. I went back to the hostel and charged the last battery. Hollie picked me up and I was suppose to go to this bookstore where she was going to have a reading. She chose to read a scene from one of her porn scripts. Her boss from the magasine "girls and corpses" were also there and did a reading. There were other people performing, like one group made this piece called "sleezy hollow" I think but it kinda looked stupid, the kind of an amateur play. But in a way it was cool, I had necer seen anything like it. The most interesting bout this evening was Hollies costume. She was dressed up as a clown with the craziest wig ever. Imagine Marge Simpson hair but instead of blue it is green, now take that long marge simpso hair and make it an afro, green that is...

Halloween 2008
Guess what day it is? Haloween. totally cool. I can't wait until I put on my pink suit among other trick or treaters. I had a meeting with Nikita and Becki and had to find some accessories for my costume, like diamond ring and diamond earings. The meeting with Nikita and Becki went well. We are finally going to produce something together. After the meeting I found my missing things in diverse shops and completed my super pink costume. I met up with Hollie and her boss Robert, a pretty cool guy. We went to his hotel room witch is situated 2 min from my hostel. I filmed Hollie while she put on her costume. After that we took a cap to this pre party with free drinks and food. It was great, a big wear house with all kinds of comics. This chinese dude went around serving all kinds of stuff on a plate for us to just take of. I felt like a rich dude at a special event for rich people. But this were only comic fanatics, publishers etc getting there badges for an event that is happening the next day. I guess it is a comic event. But will talk about that on the next blog entry.
We went from the wear house to another bar, we just had a drink here and a drink there in different bars. I met a friend of mine called Liz. I told the others to wait I was just going to say hi, then everyone just vanished. Liz then invited me to this house party. Wild party. Imagine a high school Hollywood movie. Where the parties are wild, people bringing a big ass beer keg when the booze is finished. and beautiful women, hiphop music, intimate booty shaking and weed smoking. It was pretty cool, I partied like all night and it was pretty fucked up walking home with a dirty pink suit the next day. Really looked like a pimp without a hoe. But I got back safe and I am still alive....

Don't let the bed bugs bite
Just to make it clear, before you start reading this day of my blog, you might get offended. So if you're one of those who gets easily offended do not read this blog entry. I have like 2 scary stories to tell, well at least one of them is, so I will start with the scariest one. I woke up in an apartment with only brazilian people living, were they illegal immigrants? who the hell cares, the girls were hot. Anyway, a few days back I felt like my body was scratching, like rashes all over my body, I tough it was an allergic reaction, but then again, why would I have an allergic reaction when the only thing I am allergic to are cats. There is no cats that I know of at the hostel, not in my room anyways. I came back from the brazilians and scratched myself like a junkie. When I got back I kinda talked it over with Darius and sent him photographs and he told me one thing, and one thing only: Bed Bugs!!! My body has been a victim of bed bugs. I googled the word and meaning of bed bugs, I found a picture of a guy who also was a victim of bed bugs, the rashes looked really similar. (look at this: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1033/567726321_6308d0af18.jpg compare that with the pic of my arm). I informed the hostel and all they said was sorry and moved me to another room. I will talk it over with the manager the day after. If you are still reading and gets easily offended, do not continue to read, cause here comes the spooky part, or interesting part, or the wild part (you chose your own expression and write it as a comment if you want.).
I hooked up with Nikita (the british artist) and we decided to go as a couple to a sex club situated in San Francisco. I met her around 8 30 p.m. and the club didn't open until 10 p.m. We had a coffee and went to the hostel just hung around until it was time. We went to the bart station to catch a muni cart to Valenzia, and then walk from there to 74 Otis street where the club was situated. On the way we didn't believe our selves, we though to ourselves we're actually doing this, and once on the muni cart there were no turning back. We kinda giggled the whole way and were kinda embarrassed or maybe excited (not in a sexual way). This is a world that we were about to enter witch was unknown to both of us. We arrived at the front door and payed 20 USD each, that is the price you pay when you're a couple or else it is 60 or 80 USD (on fridays and saturdays). We checked our coats and started to walk around, the staff went over the rules with us and said the couples area would open in 10 minutes. We then went to the singles area. The space was surprisingly big. It was kinda empty when we first took the tour on the 1st floor. There were many different "play" rooms, neon lights and a big dance floor with strip poles on a little stage. everything was neon, I guess that is their code/image or whatever. Some of the rooms had several t.v sets where it played porn movies. We passed like maybe 8-10 different settings I guess, and we came to a stairway that went downwards. Once we went down we arrived to this big adult playground, imagine a big cage and in tis cage there were couches, bondage toys, people inside the cage, and people outside the cage. The people inside looked like they were in sex heaven while the people outside the watching in looked like they were prisoners watching out from a prison. The were this one guy standing "behind bars" jerking off in a strange way all naked and outside the cage there were another guy siting there and jerking off also. There were something about them, their faces and the way they did things that will mark my for the rest of my life, or should I say that they will haunt me for the rest of my life. When you pass the cage you walk in a corridor and on one side is the cage and the other side there were like latex beds divided in 3 or 4 rooms. At some point there were people having sex, I believe I saw 4 or 5 people in the same bed playing with each other. One were a drag queen who sucked another guy who played with a girls tits while another one was playing with her pussy (excuse my chose of words but I warned you) the last guy lidded the pussy area with a pocket light. Nikita and I felt very uncomfortable, it was an awkward situation watching other people play with each other, having sex in front of up to 10 people at the same time. A part of me wanted to leave but my curious mind told me to explore more so did Nikitas. We went up to the couples division and saw this couple in their mid/late 40s having a dominatrix show where the man dominated his girlfriend. She did everything he said and played with a dildo. It attracted a lot of viewers and I believe I counted around 7 couples watching them (7 times 2, 14 people), and you could tell that they enjoyed showing off in front off people. I was shocked but couldn't stare away. We moved on and there was this room with couches in every corner, on 2 of the couches there were to men getting head, on the other there were this girl getting head. As the time moved on we saw more and more couples fucking, and more and more people watching, Me and Nikita needed a break and sat down on one of the beds. And then this couple started to fuck in the bed next to us, It was a pretty funny sight, and unrealistic. With the lighting effects, music and all in general it felt like a dream, if it was like a wet dream I am not to sure about that, but I felt like in a dream you woke up from but wanna keep dreaming. It was weird, strange but at the same time interesting. So we decided to go back and check it out again, in a way wake up from this weird dream...

day of the dead
complained about my bed bugs and demanded a refund a t the hostel today. All the manager said was to write down my name and e-mail address at the front desk and I didn't see him for a while after that. Was he hiding? He also told me that I should have told him earlier... Come on. If you were in the situation, would you just assume that the hostel had bed bugs? isn't places where people pay to stay suppose to be clean and bug free?? Since we used the word assume lets look a little closer on that. ASS U ME... well never ASSUME, cause if you do, you make an ASS out of U and ME = ASSUME... so I was being stupid and naive I guess. I hung around the hostel for a while and updated mails and blogs and stuff, telling the crazy story about the night before. Maybe the offended who read it thinks: "You deserve bed bugs negro."
Anyway, I was invited to join Nikita and Becki see them compete in a strip contest. I also had to go to a comic/book con that is called APE. I went to APE with Nicole, who is Roberts cousin and Robert is Hollie Stevens boss. He is the founder and CEO of girls and corpses magazine ( www.girlsandcorpses.com ). He had a stand there. I did an interview with him and filmed Hollie while she was signing magazines and stuff like that.
After that event we went to a chinese resturant where we ate delicious chinese food, probably the best food until now... We then took a Bart to the 24th and Mission (the latino area of San Fran) to see the mexican day of the dead parade. It was pretty awesome, the only thing was that I had heavy bags on me and I was sooooo tired. Couldn't stand straight. We were there for maybe an hour or so and went back to Hollies place. I am currently crashing on her couch right now as I write this blog entry. I was suppose to get my bags from the hostel.. but Have to get it tomorrow...

Hollie Stevens and Diplo
This is one of those days where it starts out shitty with rainy clouds and windy breeze and I HAVE to go to the hostel and retrieve my luggage from the storage. I could only HOPE that it would stop to rain, but no way, I have to suffer my way through the windy shitty raindrops of San Francisco city. this really sucked. I bough an umbrella on my way to the hostel cause it was to cold and I really wasn't prepared for this kinda weather. I though the bay area would always be sunny and nice and good and warm like to gay guys cuddling. But it isn't. Winter is near and the cold and mist is taking over, and all I have is a jacket in light material and a girls scarf. Anyway, I got my luggage and was suppose to meet up with Nikita who never showed up, It didn't matter to me, I'm am a patient non angry guy so I just got my bart ticket and went towards richmond. I was suppose to get off downtown berkley, but missed it with 2 stops, so had to go all the way back again, So my schedule was really behind. I got there with my suitcase and I finally got rid of it. I took remaining things in my bag and hit the road. Hollie had arranged free backstage tickets to a Diplo show. For those who don't know who he is, go to youtube and search "Diplo block party".. it is so cool.
The funny thing is, the guy who arranged the backstage passes was this cool columbian guy named Justin. Justin and Diplo grew up together and are pretty good friends. Now justin is a porn photographer and videographer, that is where Hollie gets in, Justin was the videoguy for one of Hollies scenes. The first time I heard of Diplo was when my good friend Fred Fidel showed me some of his music videos and block parties online. Pretty cool with the sick hotdog/pizza mannequins. I got a lot of footage backstage and on stage. And what was cool is that Hollie Stevens and Justin put on the mannequin suits and went onstage and danced their asses off. It was pretty funny..
Before the Diplo concert I went to this cheezy corean bar and had a few beers (the price was awesome, 3 dollars a bottle). This bartender really tried to hit on me as soon as she found out that I was making films and documentaries. She really needed a job and said that she can act and all that stuff. But hey, when in Rome, I told her I could make her a star, drank up my drink and when to meet hollie without handing out any sort of number exchange or card or whatever...
