No need to call a taxi, the taxi will call you
Nha Trang
,
Vietnam
El barbero de Sevilla
The thing is this trip is coming to an end… and we’re not willing to waste our last days just being sad. The other thing is we’ve managed to spend way less money than expected in
Vietnam
– don’t ask how, we have no idea. Thus we have a quite decent budget to take care of ourselves during these remaining days. So let’s rock!
Just let me make you feel a little bit jealous… This evening, we’ve been to a hot
Spring
, where we’ve enjoyed mud baths, warm jacuzzi, mineral showers, swimming pools, waterfall massage… at a very reasonable price, around 40 times less than a health spa in Europe. Ok, ok, no more info.
A pescar!
This pretty big city is full of opportunities like that: beach resorts, two million hotels and restaurants, tours, cafes… All of them offering their services as you pass by. Even taxi drivers stop by your side to offer you a ride… every 5 min. approx. Fortunately we’ve become professional friendly rejecters, so we manage to get rid of them easily, and even get a smile back most of the times.
Actually now I feel that I haven’t been really fair with the
Vietnam
ese people; it was difficult at the beginning, the character of Northern
Vietnam
ese was bitter and hard to fit in this sweet Asia but, as we go further South, things change and they are much more enjoyable.
Barcos pesqueros repartidos por toda la costa
Maybe it was a bit of a shock after the unbelievable Thais, Laotians and our beloved Cambodians, and eventually we've become used to it.
In any case, dealing with them will always be easier than dealing with Western people. Don't get me wrong, we’ve met great guys around here, but also many of those who like travelling stupidly, that is, expecting the country’s culture will adapt to them, instead of them behaving as acceptable in the local culture. Those who think that having the money gives them the reason, the right, and the will. Not gonna be easy to be back…
