The part and the whole

Phan Thiet, Vietnam

W-O-W, the landscape of Muine, this little village just 4 hours away from Saigon (4 hours away from our last stop) is simply stunning. As impressive as it gets, it's probably been one of the greatest things we've seen in the whole trip.
The vast stretch of sand dunes make you feel like walking through the desert, far away from any living creature. But just a little further, there is a huge lake, so blue that it seems fake, just a piece of dark blue paper used for decoration. And just at the other side of the road, the sea, the endless coastline full of fishing boats, white sand beaches and, needless to say, all kinds of hotels and resorts. You may also walk along a fairy Spring, where the sand has fossilized giving shape to the strangest rocks and canyons.
Filled with admiration, we must admit that Vietnam is likely to be the most beautiful country we've visited during the trip. Of course the perception of a country is not only about the landscape, as it's not only about the people or the history, but a combination of all these small parts. If only we could get a not-so-business-oriented character within this landscape, we could give birth to the one and only place to be.
